Success at Guilds

Congratulations to Carly Scott and Mary-Rose McLaren who received an Award for Excellence at the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Awards Ceromony for the "Braves to War" number from our junior production of Peter Pan. The number was described as an "exciting, vibrant burst of energy" by Graeme Cope, head of the judging panel. Congratulations also to the team behind I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and Chernae Howlett (Sandy, Grease) who were nominated in the Best Concert and Best Junior Female in an Open Production respectively.

BLOC Music Theatre also congratulates Ballarat Lyric Theatre for their successes on the night. Their production of Les Miserables won 6 awards including Production of the Year. All in all it was a great year for Ballarat theatre and the 21 combined nominations from BLOC and Lyric are testament to the continuously high standard of theatre in Ballarat.
